Firestick hacks 2019. Anyone having this issue? Jun 20, 2025 · Xfinity app on Amazon firestick, channels CNN & Fox news don't play issue started this afternoon (6/19/25) has been working w/o issue all along before this afternoon. For live channels, the app keeps buffering and does not show any content. All other channels I tried that are labeled "TV GO" channels work. We found an older HD Firestick on Amazon and no longer have the problem. As of October 2025 (probably after software updates), the Xfinity Stream app does not work anymore. For recordings, it does not play any of them.
